Frybo is a free Android application for watching anime and cartoons. It is developed and operated independently by a group of hobbyist developers under the name Frybo. Frybo is not currently operated through a registered company.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the App may collect, how that information is used, and which third-party services may process it. By using Frybo, you agree to the practices described below.
Frybo collects only the information needed to operate the App, provide account features, improve performance, and fix technical problems. This may include your IP address, Android device model, operating-system version, App version, language and region settings, network information, basic usage information, and crash or diagnostic data.
When you sign in with Google, we may receive basic account information provided by Google, such as your name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier, depending on the permissions and configuration of Google Sign-In. Frybo does not receive your Google password.
The App may request notification permission so that it can send service-related notifications. You can turn notifications off at any time through your Android device settings.
Frybo uses Firebase Firestore to store information needed for App features. Depending on how you use the App, this may include account or profile information, catalogue data, favourites, likes, ratings, preferences, comments, chat or community data, and basic administrative records. Firestore is not used to store the anime or cartoon video files themselves.
Frybo does not intentionally collect your precise location, contacts, camera or microphone recordings, payment information, or files from your device.
We use information to provide and maintain the App, authenticate accounts, save user settings and interactions, send requested notifications, monitor performance, diagnose crashes, improve features, protect the App from abuse, and respond to messages sent to us.
Frybo does not currently display advertisements and does not currently use your information for targeted advertising.
Frybo uses services provided by Google and Firebase. Google Sign-In is used for account authentication. Firebase Firestore is used to store App data, and Firebase Crashlytics is used to receive crash reports and basic diagnostic information. Firebase Cloud Messaging may process a notification token if it is used to deliver App notifications.
Google and Firebase may process technical information, account information, database records, device or installation identifiers, crash information, notification tokens, and IP addresses as necessary to provide their services. Their handling of information is also governed by their own policies:
Frybo does not upload, host, or store anime, cartoon, or episode video files on servers owned or operated by Frybo. The App obtains catalogue information, playback information, or access links from external sources and third-party services. Those sources may process technical information, such as IP addresses and request data, under their own policies. Frybo does not control the privacy practices of external services.
We share information with Google and Firebase only as needed for the services described in this Policy. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the security of the App, or to prevent fraud and misuse. We do not sell personal information.
Information is kept for as long as it is needed to operate the App, provide account and community features, maintain security, resolve technical issues, or comply with legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, it may be deleted or anonymized.
Frybo is a general-audience entertainment application and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without the consent required by applicable law. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information. You may also have the right to object to certain processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or opt out of targeted advertising where applicable. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions and identity verification.

We use reasonable measures to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. However, no online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Frybo is distributed directly as an Android APK and is not distributed through Google Play. Download the App only from an official Frybo source. Unofficial or modified APK files may contain different software or tracking technologies and are not controlled by the Frybo development team.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time when the App, its services, or our data practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of Frybo after an update means that you acknowledge the revised Policy, to the extent permitted by law.
